The recent COVID-19 pandemic and the transformation in global healthcare highlighted the importance of nursing and midwifery in the healthcare system. There are around 80,000 nurses working in Pakistan, whereas, the need for nurses is estimated around 800,000 to 1million. Many institutions have joined hands to invest in the field of nursing and midwifery. For the same reason, the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training (FE&PT) launched a four-year National Endowment Scholarships for Talent (NEST), for the nursing profession in Pakistan. The students who receive this scholarship will get financial support for their entire degree program. Additionally, the Royal College of Nursing Swat has its own financial assistance program through which deserving students are provided with scholarships based on their financial needs. To date, there are more than 30 students who are supported through this financial assistance program and are transforming their dreams into realities.

HOW TO APPLY?

The Royal College of Nursing Swat received fifteen (15) scholarships in the year 2020 and four (04) in the year 2021 for its Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Generic BSN) program as a partner institution. Students are requested to apply on the prescribed scholarship application form for BSN (GEN). Students are also requested to Fill and print Declaration forms on the required stamp papers. After completing the application form and declaration forms submit to Babar Khan along with the Required documents. NOTE: Any APPLICATION FORM submitted directly to NEST will not be entertained, NEST will only grant scholarships to those students who are shortlisted by the college.
